Who we are
We are The Neurodiverse Agency, based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the responsible party for the information described on this page.

What we collect
Two kinds of form on this site collect information.
- Launch updates. The email address you type in, plus which form on the page you used and the date and time you sent it.
- Freelance Mentorship enquiries. The name and email address you type in, a phone number and a message if you choose to add them, plus which page you sent it from and the date and time you sent it.
We do not ask for anything else, and no form is required to read this site.
Why we collect it
We use the email address from a launch-updates form to send occasional updates about the launch. We use what you send in an enquiry to reply to that enquiry. We do not use either for anything else, and we do not build profiles.
Where it actually goes
We would rather describe the real path than summarise it.
When you submit a form, it travels from your browser to a function running on Vercel, our hosting provider, which passes it to a Google Apps Script that sends it as an email into our hello@showup.courses mailbox, hosted by Google. There is no mailing-list platform, no database and no CRM behind this site. Your submission ends up as an email in an inbox.
Loading any page here also makes your browser request fonts from Google Fonts, and on some pages scripts from the unpkg CDN. Those providers see your IP address and browser details as a normal part of serving the request, on every page including this one. Our hosting provider records standard request logs, which include IP addresses.
Information leaving South Africa
Vercel and Google both process and store data outside South Africa. That means every form submission, and the request logs generated by simply visiting, are transferred across the border. We rely on those providers' own contractual data-protection commitments for that transfer. If you would rather not have your information leave the country, email us instead of using a form and tell us so.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you. Apart from the service providers named above, which handle it only to do the job described, nobody else receives it.
How long we keep it
Because submissions arrive as email, they stay in that mailbox until we delete them. We review and clear old enquiries periodically, and we delete anything on request. We have not yet set a fixed retention period; when we do, it will appear here.
We do not currently run an automated unsubscribe link. To stop receiving updates, or to have your details deleted, email hello@showup.courses and we will action it and confirm.
How we protect it
This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted in transit. The mailbox holding submissions is access-controlled and limited to the people who need it. We hold no card details and run no customer database. We are a small team and this is a small amount of data, which is deliberate.
Your rights under POPIA
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you can:
- ask what information we hold about you, and get a copy;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to how we are using it;
- withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time.
Email hello@showup.courses and we will action it. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
If something goes wrong
If information we hold is accessed or lost in a way that could affect you, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as soon as we reasonably can, and say what we are doing about it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain directly to the Information Regulator of South Africa, at inforegulator.org.za.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own and we run no advertising or tracking pixels. We do not use analytics that profile you.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will live on this page and the date at the top will change with it.
